Retin A creams. It will peel off layers of skin.
It takes regular use, and you have to deal with weeks of red, peeling skin, but it makes a pretty big difference.
Stretch mark creams will only work if used during your pregnancy, and used diligently, every day. Once the baby is born, it is too late. The best advice is to talk to your obstetrician/gynocologist and not listen to all these pieces of advice.
anything with vitamin c and e in it
Hi, there is a product called Bio-oil, it’s fab stuff. It’s a natural product and it’s not really expensive. People use it for stetch mark prevention during pregnancy, but it also fades stretch marks and scars with regular use. I used it while I was pregnant and I didn’t get any. You might need to look it up on the internet to find it, I don’t know what countries it’s avaliable in.
work from the inside out. Take a multi-vitamin, and a vitamin E suppliment.
I don’t know if this works with stretch marks, but it works with scars. I am fifteen right now, and until I went to treatment for a year (ages 13 – 14) I was a severe cutter. I have scars all up and down both my thighs. My doctor reccomended this cream stuff called MEDERMA and it works pretty well. It says on the tube that it’s for stretch marks too, so maybe it would work.

Cocoa butter, primrose evening oil and Vitamin E creams work, but may not have any effect for those “deeper” stretch marks. Here’s what I recommend:
StriVectin was accidentally discovered by scientists and doctors who wanted an anti-wrinkle formula. It’s logo is “Better than Botox”.
Do your research by “Googling” for it. StriVectin has been around for 2 years at least!
It’s a patented cream and this means whatever goes into the manufacture of the cream (or gel) has been proven to work, proven by many clinical trials on humans. (ALWAYS buy from a online shop that’s registered with the BBB.org or with a Consumer Protection Authority in your country.)
P.S. I DO NOT earn any money from recommending you StriVectin.
More about StriVectin:
Intensive Repair For Existing Stretch Marks (Striae Distensae)
Ultra Concentrated Stretch Mark Repair Formula
Clinically Proven to Dramatically Reduce the Length, Depth, and Texture of Existing Stretch Marks
Corrects Discoloration
Stimulates Collagen Synthesis
Significant, Measurable Results in 93% of Subjects Tested
Clinical Studies Don’t Lie
A groundbreaking series of studies has demonstrated, without a doubt, the amazing effectiveness of the active StriVectin-SD isolates. After reviewing and verifying the clinical data, the researchers noted an incredible 93% of subjects demonstrated a measurable reduction in visible stretch marks. The unequivocal, verified results speak for themselves. But there’s more…..
Clinical observations further document the ability of StriVectin-SD’s active, independent isolates to dramatically:
Decrease the actual length of striae (stretch marks)
Decrease the depth of indented surfaces
Increase smooth surfaces
Increase skin thickness
Increase skin firmness
Increase stimulation of collagen synthesis
Correct irregularities in skin discoloration
And that’s not all. StriVectin-SD includes a proprietary combination of skin firming agents, elasticizers, and skin hydrators…adding up to the most effective, the most powerful…in fact, the only topical formulation clinically proven to effectively confront every aspect of stretch-mark repair.
So What’s The Catch?
There are three. First, although 93% of the subjects tested experienced measurable reduction in stretch mark depth, length, feel, color, and texture, no topical formulation can completely eliminate stretch-mark damage. Second, at $135.00 for a 4-6 week supply, StriVectin-SD is much less expensive than surgery, but it’s not cheap. Finally, for maximum efficacy, StriVectin-SD must be applied three times a day, every day, for 4-6 weeks…StriVectin-SD works, but you have to use it. So unless you’re committed to getting rid of stretch marks, don’t waste your time, your energy, or your money.
P.S. Retin-A works to a certain extent (it’s are more effective for wrinkles and crows’ feet) and it isn’t suitable for those with sensitive skin.
I do not know of any at-home remedies that are equally effective as StriVectin.

Reduce Pregnancy Stretch Marks
Aromatherapists recommend an anti-stretch mark concoction of 2 drops of both frankincense and myrrh, 5 drops of lavender, 3 drops of geranium and 2 fl. oz. of calendula carrier oil. This mixture may be applied to the breasts, stomach, buttocks, and thighs in the morning and at night, starting in the 2nd trimester.
Focus your attention on a rigorous exercise routine rather than on your stretch marks. Exercising your body will tone you. Stretch marks are a part of growing up… so deal with it while toning your body. You can be as beautiful as you allow yourself to be. “Tis rather to be fit and toned, than worry about stretch marks,” which are inevitable in ones life. We Black women are beautiful – we give ourselves such criticism…when we shouldn’t.

you can use Retin-A to remove stretch marks.
first of all, if you already have the stretch marks then u need to use something like maderma, the cocoa butter isn’t gonna do much good, as that is just to so called “prevent” stretch marks. I have horrible stretch marks after having my son 3 yrs. ago. I used cocoa butter throughout my entire pregnancy, and i still got stretch marks, the doctor told me that there is really nothing a woman can do to prevent them, they are hereditary, if your mom or grandma had them, then you’re more likely to have them.I’ve also tried maderma, with very little success, so if you find something that works, let me know!!!
You could go to walgreens and go to the beauty products and there should be some cremes….ok ..hope you find something!…marcia
