Have You Tried The Store Brand Baby Products?
i am mostly breastfeeding but do give my baby some formula supplement at night and want to know if anyone has tried the walgreen’s soy based baby formula. Also what about the other walgreen’s brand baby products like diapers? Sometimes i think that we pay more for the name but in actually the store brands are just as good. What’s your take on that?

I use Parent’s Choice by Wal-Mart and am extremely pleased. The FDA-IHA has very strict guidelines that ALL formula companies have to adhere to and some “off” brands contain more nutrients than name brand products.

i only used store brand formula bc it was the same nutritionally as what she was already on; she drank enf lipil and sam’s clubs lipil was the same; in my experience from the variety of diapers we got at our shower is that the store brands are either leaky, uncomfy fit, rough to touch, etc….i would spend the extra and buy brand name diapers and wipes; we use cruisers now , and swaddlers before by pampers and they have been super…if u buy the huge box/case at brus or sam’s the price of the diaper isn’t that high; and we use pampers sensitive wipes; never had a prob with either…so i highly recommend them….
btw: if u have a boy, u might try huggies , they seemed to have all the absorbent stuff up front, whereas pampers has it all around the front, bottom, and back…..hth
I have 5 kids so we live on store brand items…it may be a few cents here and there but the savings adds up. Formula’s are all approved and have the same ingredients. We made too much money for my youngest to be on WIC so we bought Walgreens, CVS and Walmart formula’s. She is now 2 years old, 34 lbs and very healthy. Diapers are also good. They do the job that the name brand diapers do.
