Can I Give Products With Citric Acid To My 10 Month Old Baby?
I am trying to avoid citric fruits due to allergy prevention. I was reading that we can give yogurt to the babies at this age, but the yogurt has Citric Acid, is it safe?

citric acid is just vitamin c, hon. They put it in baby food all the time. It’s fine.
yes
Consult with a pediatrician first
i don’t see why not, there are only small amounts in the yoghurt, but just to be on the safe side, before you give it to your baby, ask your local pharmacist and he will put you right.
Better to be safe than sorry.
What kind of yogurt are you giving your child?
I give my daughter whole milk plain yogurt, with fresh fruit in it. It is less expensive and all natural. The only ingredient in the yogurt I use is cultured milk.
Yogurt is ok although I suggest “Yo-Baby” yogurt which is an organic product. It sounds like you are very careful about what you are putting in your child’s body. I wish more parents were.
