Some hair products use placenta in some way but it is ANIMAL placenta, like sheep. Not human derived, thats illegal.
When people give birth the placenta and other tissue,etc is incinerated or otherwise disposed of as medical waste/biohazardous material. It does not wind up in any kind of product don’t worry.

My fav is Bed Head Control Freak serum (3) from a salon. I usually put some in while my hair is wet, then air dry. It works wonders. Otherwise I’ve used the Sunsilk Anti-Poof creme which actually works well for a cheaper product. Neither one makes my hair look/feel greasy.

if you are talking about gel for a baby then i highly doubt its made. see the main ingredient in gels are alcohol. since baby skin is highly senstive i would not sujest using gel.
