Debi Mazar and Dana Delany will be the two driving forces behind A Beautiful Life, which opens up in theaters this fall. When an abused young woman and an illegal immigrant looking for his mother find themselves thrust together by pasts they’re both on the run from, it’s not surprising that the two would fall in love. But when star-crossed lovers find each other, they often find plenty of trouble as well, and this time will be no exception. Check out the trailer. It’s kind of good to see a romance film hit theaters after the long summer movie season of near-constant bang-bang, but is this one going to be too rich for most fans’ blood? It’s clear they want a forceful story here, but too much force in the wrong spot can shatter rather than move.
